Hi Everyone

Perhaps I should have started by saying "what do you need to know":) If it's been awhile since you took a test, you might be feeling a bit uneasy and wondering "what do I need to know". Well, one thing I like to share with people studying for a test is to study as you go and don't wait until the night before or the morning of the test to start studying. Also, remember this, most of what you are going to be tested on is things you already know -- let's face it, managing a practice means you know a lot about many different things. Stay focused and remain calm.

Don't freak yourself out. If you don't do one of the core competency areas, for example, maybe you don't manage the payroll or human resources in your practice, then set aside some extra time to focus in that area(s). Also, don't forget, you have a team of folks that are going to be posting and reading your posts over the next 12 weeks so take advantage of this and put your questions out there. The COPM Committee is here is help you so go for it.

Check back tomorrow and remember, preparation is key. Brush up on the things you don't do often or maybe never had to do. If you need some clarification, post your question and we will help guide you as best as possible.

Enjoy your study time - until tomorrow!
