Hi Everyone

Hi Everyone

Here's a flash from the past.....flash cards! Remember those? This is a tip that some folks shared with us that sat for the COPM. As they were going through the resources, they identified areas they were not quite so comfortable with so they took some index cards, wrote up some questions or jotted down some facts and put them on the index card (answers on the back of course) and as they had time in their day, they reviewed their deck of flash cards. How about that for a good old fashion way of helping yourself learn and remember? Now, there's probably an app on the Smart Phone that will do this but for folks like me, this would work just fine!

Let's say that your practice outsources its accounting (or part of it) and since you are not an accountant, you may not be as comfortable with the financial section. You may want to create a flash card like the documents I attached.

Hope this tip helps! Check back tomorrow as we close on week one of twelve of the AOA COPM On-Line Study Group!
